Launch of a Comprehensive Consultation Project on Competitiveness Enhancement and Export Development for Hai Phong Paint Company
This morning, February 28, IMCE Singapore (the parent organization of ABE Academy) officially launched the IPSC Project – Comprehensive Consultation on Competitiveness Enhancement and Export Development for Hai Phong Paint Company.
The USAID Improving Private Sector Competitiveness (IPSC) Project is a technical assistance initiative funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Agency for Enterprise Development (AED) under the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) of Vietnam. The project aims to remove policy, market, and internal business barriers that hinder the development of Vietnamese enterprises, with a focus on three key business groups:
- Pioneering enterprises
- Growing businesses
- Private enterprises
Out of more than 600 applications, Hai Phong Paint Company, with over 60 years of industry expertise, was selected to receive comprehensive support from IPSC to enhance its competitiveness and integrate more effectively into the global market.
IMCE Singapore’s Role in the Project
IMCE Singapore was chosen over several prominent domestic and international consulting firms by MPI (Ministry of Planning and Investment) and IPSC to lead this project. The initiative aims to enhance export competitiveness and provide specialized training for Hai Phong Paint Company, positioning it as a pioneering enterprise in the industry.
Project Kickoff and Key Focus Areas
Over the next 12 months, IMCE Singapore, along with its educational subsidiary ABE Academy, will work closely with Hai Phong Paint Company on three core strategic areas:
- Enhancing workforce capabilities
- Fostering internal open innovation
- Conducting market research and facilitating new export opportunities
This initiative marks a significant step toward helping Vietnamese enterprises strengthen their global competitiveness, paving the way for sustainable growth and international market expansion.
